No question about it, Victor Conte plays his butt off on electric bass in this tune. The melody is wacky, comic, a clumsy gorilla trying to walk around. Ronnie Beck pairs well with Vic, not surprising after their “We Came to Play” Tower of Power days. Nate Ginsberg does the chemistry set-mad scientist solo. Everything about this song was encapsulated by Jay Graydon‘s comment about the music back in the day. “What’s great is, it doesn’t sound like anyone. What’s bad is, it doesn’t sound like anyone.”
